The victim had worked for 20 years
In an accident in Louiseville, Que., near Trois-Rivieres, a police officer and a suspect both died. Another police officer was hurt, but he is not in danger of dying.
Provincial police say they went to a home at 8:30 p.m. on Monday to arrest someone who had made threats. While telling the suspect his or her rights, officer Maureen Breau was stabbed.
