Multiplicity

(United States, 1996) With Michael Keaton and Andie McDowell. Directed by Harold Ramis (Groundhog Day). Category : Comedy. Length : 1:57. Classification : General

Movie description :
It's as if Michael Keaton wanted to get everything out of his return to comedy. Through the miracle of modern science he appears as four versions of himself in this cloning caper. I wonder if he got paid three times? I have always thought Keaton was a good comic actor, but this film steers clear of any interesting ethical complications and goes straight for obvious laughs.

I want more Multiplicity

If we could only clone ourselves, would we? In this movie Michael Keaton is a hard working man trying to juggle it all, work, marriage and a social life. He takes the opportunity of a lifetime to clone himself. Little by little we see how it is hard to keep up the charade as more clones are added. Michael Keaton plays tough guy, sensitive guy and dumb guy, and truly you can see what a versatile actor he is. This movie is good clean fun for all.

Great.

This was well done. Keaton is ecentric enough to play such a character. If they decided to do a sequel i think i would see it. Strong cast helps the story move along at a good pace.

I also think that this film delivers a good message. Oh sure, cloning would be good to be in more then one place at a time, but as this film demonstrates...how does the original keep up to all that's going on or worse...what if the clone is involved in crime! You got it, original gets fingered!!
