Pretty Good

I finally got a copy of this film and it was good. My copy was very grainy but what is one to expect from a 83 year old film. One would generally need to be in a good mood to see this documentary , but seeing a piece of history is a reward in itself.

The First Documentary Film Ever

If you get a chance to watch "Nanook of the North" I recommended you do because this is a classic documentary film but it's really tough to get a hold of the DVD or the VHS film but school's still have copies of this film. Nanook of the North follows a Inuit man and his family as they hunt and gather their own food and clothing. They also depend on themselves only to take of themselves in the cold. A true fact about this film is that the main character in the film (The Inuit man) died in the blistering cold years later when the film was released.
